A well-known hotel in Kandy is looking for a skilled and experienced Food & Beverage Manager to take charge of the daily operations of all food and beverage areas in the hotel. This includes restaurants, bars, room service, and any special dining events. The main goal of this role is to make sure every guest has an excellent dining experience, while also making sure the department runs smoothly and is profitable.

As the F&B Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of service staff and kitchen professionals. You will make sure that every team member delivers high-quality service, follows hotel standards, and works together to keep guests happy. Training and guiding the staff will be a key part of your role to help them improve their performance and maintain a positive work environment.

You’ll work closely with the chefs to plan menus and ensure the food meets quality standards. Keeping costs under control is also important, so you’ll be in charge of monitoring expenses, managing stock levels, and reducing waste where possible. Managing the department budget and working to increase sales and profits will be a big part of your responsibilities.

Part of your duties will include organizing and managing special events like banquets, meetings, or private functions. You will make sure everything runs smoothly and guests are satisfied with the food and service provided. You’ll also need to make sure that all hygiene and safety rules are followed, and that the hotel’s brand standards are met at all times.
