This job is for a Sales Supervisor position at a store located in Port City Colombo. The main role is to support the Sales Manager in running the daily operations of the store smoothly and efficiently. A key part of your job will be to guide and motivate the sales team to reach their targets, all while ensuring customers have a great shopping experience. You’ll also be expected to lead by example, delivering friendly, helpful service, and handling customer complaints in a professional way.
Building strong relationships with customers will be part of your responsibilities, and you’ll need to take care of store presentation and make sure the stock is well organized. You’ll also manage the store’s physical assets and funds, follow company procedures, and help improve team performance through coaching and training.
To be considered for this role, you should have completed your A/Ls or higher education, and have at least six years of sales experience, with three years in a supervisory role. It’s even better if your background is in fashion, luxury retail, hospitality, or duty-free sales. You should be fluent in English, have strong communication and people skills, and be presentable, energetic, and a good team player. The job requires someone who is passionate about sales, self-motivated, and can perform well under pressure. A good eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude toward customer service are essential.
